Meet Barbara Seibold, the new Children’s Services Manager at the Graham Public Library!

We are pleased to announce that Barbara Seibold has joined the Graham Public Library as the new Children’s Services Manager.

How long have you worked with the County?
I have worked IN Alamance Co. for 34 years as a teacher and librarian for ABSS and then as a librarian for The Burlington School.

Where are you from originally?
I am originally from the Chicago area.

What are you most passionate about?
My family, reading/education, cats/dogs

Do you have a hobby?
Reading, taking day trips with my husband, learning new things

When you were little, what was your dream job?
I wanted to be a teacher 

What was the best part of your week/weekend?
Any time I can spend with my two grown daughters

If your life was a song, what would the title be?
Young at Heart

Are you involved in any community projects or organizations?
I foster kittens for the Burlington Animal Shelter

What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Eew, just eew. I am not adventurous with food.

What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
Travel

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned recently?
How cool being a public librarian is. I was afraid I’m miss my students, but my new job is AWESOME!
