Ancestry Library Edition – With more than 1.5 billion names in over 4,000 databases, Ancestry Library Edition includes records from the United States Census; military records; court, land and probate records; vital and church records; directories; passenger lists and more.
An NC LIVE database that you can access with your library card, Heritage Quest provides access to U.S. census records, books, Revolutionary War service records, and Freedman’s Bank deposit or records. It also can lead you to resources on how to do genealogy research.
Offers premier collections of original military records. These records include the stories, photos, and personal documents of the men and women who served in the military.
Copies of digitized local newspapers in this fully searchable resource. The entire Alamance Gleaner, all available from library holdings Alamance News, and The Times News 1954-1957; 1978-1988; and 2004 – Present – only available at library locations!
