ACPL Digital: Learn. Connect. Explore.
Thanks to a grant supporting adult digital literacy, the library is expanding access to technology, learning tools, and hands-on instruction for adult learners in our community. This initiative includes free Udemy access , Chromebook lending, and increased in-person computer classes at our library locations.
Adults can borrow a Chromebook and explore Udemy’s wide range of self-paced courses covering computer basics, workplace technology, productivity tools, creative software, and more. For those who prefer guided learning or extra support, the library now offers more frequent, in-person computer classes led by instructors from Alamance Community College.
If you are an adult interested in checking out a Chromebook for home use, you can set up a Chromebook orientation meeting with a librarian here. In this session, you will learn about our Chromebook Lending Program. If you have already had your orientation session and need to request a device, make your request for 28-day Chromebooks or 7-Day Chromebooks .
